1 January 2026
I’ve done enough. I go out.
Cold wind. Smell of unsmoked weed.
Every day was perfect in its own way. All I needed was to follow the script:
Meditate. Run. Walk. Cook. Yoga. Cinema. Museum. Restaurants. Café. Read. Make art.
Phone on flight mode. No human interactions, except with staff.
The waiter looks at me, holds up one finger. I nod.
She gestures me over to a table in the corner, next to the window. I sit.
She leaves the menu, smiling.
A small pot of hot ginger tea.
Spicy garlic eggplants with rice.
Conversations blend.
I can hear everything, and understand nothing.
Whatever happens around me doesn’t affect me.
I enjoy it.
I pour tea into the white bowler hat-shaped ceramic cup, add honey, stir.
The eggplants shimmer.
It feels like looking at one of the greatest works of art ever created.

31 December 2025
the city is muted,
i wake up exhausted.
i loosen the grip,
direct link to the source.
i don’t decide,
it’s already decided.
no point in resisting,
slow morning, no talk.
the same as the day before,
opposite yesterday.
say, do you like it
or want to be different?
free like a bird,
unintentionally timeless.
end up in the same place
again and again.
a different experience,
if you allow it.
stop looking for sense
when you don’t understand.
constantly moving,
avoiding the people.
observe every detail
but not for too long.
leave when the masses arrive.
PS: Remove everything inessential. Sometimes a bit more.
